Ken Ashton founded Ashton Autos in 1981, and many of his clients have been customers ever since. With more than thirty years’ experience in servicing and maintaining vehicles of all kinds, Ken has ensured that Ashton Autos offers honest advice, quality work and friendly service in a rural setting at the heart of the farming community, which has kept his customers coming back – even into the second and third generation!

Chris Ashton joined his father, Ken, in the family business in 2009. Chris had previously trained at Gales in Beccles, worked at Roy Humphreys in Diss, and also travelled the world working as a service engineer for an Italian company building and maintaining container reach stackers (machines which lift and stack containers at ports). Returning to Ashton Autos, Chris’ first job was to help rebuild the workshop roof and install a new ramp to provide more space for their ever-increasing workload. Chris was also the driving force behind the 2013 Ashton Autos expansion: the brand-new, purpose-built MOT Test facility.
